Blending
The process of making compostable garbage bags starts with blending the biopolymer resin and color master batch. The biopolymer resins used are derived from corn starch, PLA, and PBAT. The mixture is blended until a uniform consistency is achieved.

Melting
The uniform mixture is then melted in an extruder machine, which heats the material to a temperature range of 130-180°C. The heat melts the biopolymer mixture, making it easier to mold into the required shape.

Pumping air
In this process, air is pumped vertically through a film of bioplastic to produce a tube-shaped film. The diameter of the tube is set up and determined by the required width of the compostable bag.

Passing through rollers
Several rollers slowly cool down the bioplastic tube, forming sheets that eventually form compostable bags.

Printing
Most compostable flat top waste bags require printing with brand logos or other information. Simple logos can be printed while passing through rollers. However, complex patterns with more than two colors must be printed on a printing machine. Water-based ink is used for printing, which is also compostable, to ensure the final product is eco-friendly.

Packing
